Guidance Engineering can conduct testing in the field or in the laboratory. Testing can include the use of ATDs (crash test dummies), human surrogates, and exemplar vehicles and/or products. When special conditions exist that cannot be replicated in the laboratory, we recommend testing on site. Common examples include determining the  slip resistance of installed flooring, measuring accelerations during an emergency stop on an elevator, and capturing body motions of a snowboarder or bicyclist performing jumps in a terrain park.
